For me the easiest way to clean out the ultra airless pump when shooting latex is in the sink. You can use the cup but this is a lot faster and simpler. I wouldn’t get it in the motor. The pump section is impervious to water. I’ve had it all apart and I’m not worried about this. Keep the water pressure low and you’re good. If you aren’t comfortable don’t do it. I’ve had it in a bucket of water up to the motor before. So I’m ok doing it. The pump is replaceable as well. I keep the motor a little higher so water runs out the front.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful thoughts here. Your video is very useful and informative about cordless paint sprayer. If anyone looking for the Best Paint Sprayer, visit sprayerboss.com
I never saw this comment. I don’t mean to be rude but your “best paint sprayer” articles are nothing but clickbait. For instance, on your top 5’Professional” sprayers list you have nothing but home owner grade bottom of the barrel sprayers. You should be ashamed. Your “articles” help no one but yourself.
Great tip and process. The video gave me reassurance to consider such a sprayer for painting.

That is a great tip. I have spent ages filling running, emptying and repeating to clean that gun. That’s 10 min easy….thanks!
